In Unit 1 we are working on Investagation and Experimentation, We are doing this by learning how to make a perfect "Science Fair Project" even though we may or may not be making a project for the science fair. In order to learn about creating a perfect science fair project we have to learn how to devolop a perfect experiment question and how to write a proceure as well as follow it, how to conduct the experiment, graph the data and also write a good conclusion.

Scientific progress is made by asking meaningful questions and conducting careful investigations. As a basis for understanding this concept and    addressing the content in the other three strands, students should develop their own questions and perform investigations. Students will:

1. Plan and conduct a scientific investigation to test a hypothesis.
2. Evaluate the accuracy and reproducibility of data.
3. Distinguish between variable and controlled parameters in a test.
4. Construct appropriate graphs from data and develop quantitative statements about the relationships between variables.
